Appointments during COVID - 19
In line with guidance from NHS England we have moved to a full triage service for GP appointments. There will be no routine appointments available to book for GPs.
We will be pre-booking some nurse appointments and you will be contacted on the day of your appointment to check you don't have a cough, high temperature or a loss or change in your sense of smell or taste.
You appointments may take place using video and you can find a general guide below on how video consultations work as well as instructions to follow if a GP has sent you a video consultation link.

What to do if your GP has sent you a video link
We offer appointments between 8.00am and 6.00pm on Mondays to Fridays. Please see the extended access page of this website for information about the evening and Saturday morning appointments we also offer.
We operate an appointment system for seeing both the practice doctors and nurses. You may request a preferred GP on booking however this will be subject to availability.
To make an appointment: Telephone 01636 702363 (see below) or call at the reception desk.
Due to high demand we have changed the way we allow patients to telephone the surgery. For urgent on the day appointments please call from 8am, For routine appointments including nurse appointments please call after 11am.
For all other non urgent queries please call after 2pm.
Please note that Mondays are our busiest day.
Please remember: Emergencies will always be seen on the same day.
Please let our receptionist know if your child is acutely unwell and under the age of 5 years as they will be offered a same day appointment.
When you arrive
Please use the intercom to the left of the entrance doors to speak to reception.
Each doctor has telephone triage slots which may be allocated to you if you ask for an appointment. A doctor will then ring you back and offer the most appropriate outcome e.g. an appointment or medical advice.
A triage nurse is also available most mornings between 08:30 and 11:00. To access a triage doctor or nurse please call 01636 702363.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
To help stop the spread Covid-19 (Coronavirus) we have made the decision to suspend the booking of appointments online. We hope you will understand and support us in this decision.
